It’s been a while. A long while.
Some of you waited far too long for your bikes. I remember that.
But I remember something else even more clearly: once the boxes finally landed, people fucking loved riding them.
That instant pull. The stupid grin when the motor kicked in. A folding bike that somehow made every red light feel like a starting line.
That is the part I want back.
Ten years after the first MATE, I want to do it again—lighter, sharper, simpler and affordable on purpose.

Is this a preorder?
No. No payment, no deposit and no bike reserved. You're simply saying you would seriously consider backing POP if the final crowdfunding campaign delivers on the bike and price shown here.
Is it really planned from US$499?
Yes. That's the target starting crowdfunding price for the bike. Shipping, taxes and final version pricing will be shown clearly before anybody is asked to pay.
250W or 350W?
We're planning both. 250W pedal-assist is the planned EU public-road version. 350W + throttle is coming back. Legal to deliver in the EU. Private property, not public roads. Final specs before anyone pays.
Is this MATE?
No. POP is my independent new project. I founded the original MATE campaigns, but POP is a new bike and a new chapter. See the original MATE campaign and MATE X campaign.
When?
When it’s ready. No invented launch date today. First I want to know whether enough people actually want the bike. Then I finish the product and the plan before asking anyone for money.
